In 2021, KIIP has received international recognition as one of the Best 100 finalists at the Good Design Award 2021 within the category of kitchen goods, cookware, tableware, and cutlery. At this annual event held in Japan, the food container product joined other award-winning brands to receive a respectable label as the most popular design of the year.
Organized by the Japan Institute of Designed Promotion, the Good Design Award has been around since 1957. Along those years, this unique and comprehensive program provides the evaluation and advocacy system for a wide range of products. Among them are daily goods, industrial brands, architectural icons, operational services, and many more.
The main goal of this program is to enrich the global society with excellent-designed products. At the same time, the program also helps promote a reliable list of brands and inventions with the most exceptional design. Every year, a multitude of products from different ranges of categories are evaluated by juries in terms of their design and quality as well as their significance to meet specific goals and ideas.
Receiving recognition and appreciation at an annual award that has been around for decades indicates that KIIP is able to take part in the global market alongside other outstanding products. At this international event, KIIP has successfully represented Indonesia to compete with more than 20 other countries.
